Ingredients

  • Butter
  • Sugar
  • 85g of dark chocolate
  • 40g of butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 35g of sugar
  • 4 egg whites
  • 5g of pure cocoa

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Grease ceramic molds with some butter and coat each mold in sugar
  2. Put the molds in the fridge
  3. Mix 40g of butter and 85g of dark chocolate and melt it
  4. Mix 1 egg yolk with 35g of sugar and add melted chocolate and butter to it
  5. Add 5g of pure cocoa
  6. Whip 4 egg whites
  7. Mix the egg whites with chocolate
  8. Pour the chocolate mixture into the molds
  9. Bake for 12-14 minutes at 200C or 390F
  10. Sprinkle your souffles with some icing sugar and chocolate chips

Tips

Make sure that the melted chocolate and butter mixture isn’t too hot before adding it to egg yolk, otherwise the egg yolk will cook and you will have to do everything all over again.
