Ingredients

  • ½ cup of oil
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped ginger
  • 4-5 dundicut peppers
  • 2 tablespoons of turmeric
  • 2 red chili peppers
  • 2 green chili peppers
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 entire chicken
  • 2 cups of yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons of dried fenugreek
  • 1 teaspoon of crushed mint

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Pour ½ cup of oil in a pot or pan and let it heat for 5 mins
  2. Chop 2 onions and fry them until they turn golden brown
  3. Mix 2 tablespoons of chopped garlic with 2 tablespoons of chopped ginger to the onion and fry it for 5 mins on low heat
  4. Add 4-5 dundicut peppers, 2 tablespoons of turmeric, and 2 red and 2 green chili peppers
  5. Stir everything
  6. Add 2 chopped tomatoes and stir everything together
  7. Keep stirring it
  8. Cut a chicken into 14 pieces and add them to the cooking spices
  9. Stir everything from time to time
  10. Add 1 cup of yogurt and stir everything
  11. Add 2 tablespoons of dried fenugreek and mix everything together
  12. Let it cook for 2-3 mins
  13. Put your meal in a pot and sprinkle it with some chopped garlic
  14. Mix 1 teaspoon of crushed mint with 1 cup of yogurt to make mint sauce
  15. Serve your meal with mint sauce

Tips

If you do not want to cut an entire chicken, purchase the one that is already cut in pieces or chicken breast instead.
