Ingredients

  • 1kg of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast
  • Salt
  • 3-4 tablespoons of oil
  • 4 tablespoons of yogurt
  • 6 potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of chicken masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon of red chili powder
  • Some shredded cheese
  • Butter
  • Red chili flakes
  • Fresh coriander leaves

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Put 1kg of all-purpose flour into a bowl
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of yeast, 1 tablespoon of salt, 3-4 tablespoons of oil, 4 tablespoons of yogurt, and mix everything together
  3. Pour 2 cups of milk, carefully mix everything together and knead for 5 minutes to make the dough
  4. Set aside the dough for 20 minutes to let it rise
  5. Peel 6 potatoes, wash and cut them
  6. Put the potatoes in a casserole, fill it with water, add 1 teaspoon of salt to the water, and boil the potatoes
  7. Once the potatoes are done, remove them from the casserole, put them in a bowl, and add 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of turmeric, 1 teaspoon of chicken masala powder, 1 teaspoon of red chili powder, some shredded cheese, and mash the potatoes
  8. Make 2 small chapatis from the dough and fill them with the potato stuffing as shown in the video
  9. Preheat the pan and cook naan on both sides using some butter, red chili flakes, and fresh coriander leaves
