Ingredients

  • 250g of chopped onions
  • 400g of chopped tomatoes
  • 1kg of boneless chicken
  • 500g of rice
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 2 tablespoons of red chili
  • 2 tablespoons of turmeric
  • 2 small cinnamons
  • 2-3 cardamom
  • 1 tablespoon of dried coriander
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 4 tablespoons of yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons of biryani color powder

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Pour 1 cup of oil into the pot and fry the onion on medium heat for a few minutes
  2. Add the chicken to the pot
  3. Stir continuously so that the chicken will evenly cook
  4. Put the rice in water and set it aside
  5. Add tomatoes to frying chicken and stir everything together
  6. Mix 2 tablespoons of red chili, 2 tablespoons of turmeric, 2 small cinnamons, 2-3 cardamom, 1 tablespoon of dried coriander, and 1 teaspoon of cumin
  7. Add 4 tablespoons of yogurt to the spices and mix everything together
  8. Add the spices to the chicken and stir it
  9. Cook the chicken for a few minutes and take it out of the pot
  10. Boil the rice
  11. Put a layer of chicken in the pot, cover it with a layer of rice, and repeat it
  12. Sprinkle the top with 2 teaspoons of biryani color powder
  13. Cover the biryani with a cloth and lid and cook on low heat for 10 minutes
  14. Shake the pot to mix everything and serve your meal
