Ingredients

  • 200g of boneless chicken
  • 200g of chopped onion
  • 200g of green bell pepper
  • ½ cup of oil
  • 2 teaspoons of crushed garlic and ginger
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • ⅕ teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of garam masala
  • 100ml of tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato ketchup

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Add ½ cup of oil to the pot
  2. Put ginger and garlic in the pot and fry it
  3. Add chicken and fry it until it becomes light brown
  4. Take the chicken out of the pot
  5. Fry pepper and onion in the same pot
  6. Once the pepper and onions start turning golden brown, take them out of the pot
  7. Add tomato paste to the pot and cook it on low heat for several minutes
  8. Add chicken, vegetables, and spices to the pot and cook for 10-15 minutes
  9. Add 2 tablespoons of tomato ketchup
  10. Serve your meal

Cook jalfrezi in a deep pot so that the sauce doesn’t come out of the pot.
