- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of whole wheat flour
- Salt
- Water
- 1 tablespoon of chat masala
- 1 tablespoon of red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon of roasted cumin
- 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
- A pinch of crushed pepper
- Some potatoes
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 tablespoon of crushed garlic
- 1 tablespoon of chili pepper
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1 taspoon of red chili powder
- Sauce of your choice
- Coriander leaves
- Cheddar cheese
Step-by-Step Guide
- Take 1 cup of all-purpose flour and mix it with 1 cup of whole wheat flour
- Add some salt to taste
- Pour some water to create dough
- Mix everything together
- Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes
- Put the dough aside for 15-20 minutes
- Mix 1 tablespoon of chat masala, 1 teaspoon of red chili powder, 1 teaspoon of roasted cumin, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, and a pinch of crushed pepper
- Boil some potatoes
- Preheat your pan and add 2 tablespoons of oil
- Add 1 tablespoon of crushed garlic, 1 tablespoon of chopped chili pepper, and fry it
- When the garlic starts turning brown add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- Mix everything together and add 1 teaspoon of red chili powder
- Add boiled potatoes to the pan and mash them
- Add 1 tablespoon of Frankie masala to potatoes and mix it
- Add some salt to taste and mix everything 16. Make the rolls from potatoes and fry them for 3-5 minutes on medium heat
- Flip the potato rolls and fry them on the other side
- Put the rolls on a tissue to strain excess oil
- Cut the dough in half and make balls
- Roll the dough to make chapatis
- Cook the chapatis on both sides
- Put on the sauce of your choice and some Piri Piri sauce on the chapatis
- Sprinkle some coriander leaves and grated cheddar cheese and put potato rolls on top
- Fold the chapati
